As long as you have a rental car, you will be able to get anywhere that you want or need to go. Obviously, there’s no need to schedule out every minute of every day of your trip, but if you get a general idea of the things that you want to do during your time in Pittsburgh, you can ensure that you don’t end up wasting valuable time during your trip.

Yes, You Should Get a Rental Car for Pittsburgh

A couple of weeks ago, I was having lunch with one of my buddies. As we were eating our sandwiches and chatting about our weeks, my buddy mentioned that he was going to be taking a trip to Pittsburgh in a couple of weeks. He said that he had some meetings he had to attend in Pittsburgh, and was going to be spending three or four days there (his boss hadn’t finalized his plans yet). I asked him if he was going to book a rental car once he knew how many days he was going to be there, and he told me that he hadn’t even thought about it. Once I explained that it was going to be a pain to get around without a rental car, my buddy realized that I was right and told me that he would definitely be booking a rental car to use for transportation during his trip.

If you are planning a trip to Pittsburgh, I will give you the same advice that I gave my friend. Not only should you get a rental car, but you should book it online before you leave for Pittsburgh. Following these simple instructions will save you lots of time, and also a nice little chunk of money!

Around this time last year, I took my wife and kids to the city of Pittsburgh. Although we had taken family trips to a lot of different destinations, Pittsburgh was a place that we had not visited. However, several of our friends had taken their families to Pittsburgh, and they all had good things to say about taking a trip there. So, we got online, found a good deal on plane tickets, and planned out a six day trip to Pittsburgh. In addition to getting our plane tickets online, we also found a hotel room and reserved a rental car.

When our plane landed in Pittsburgh, we were able to pick up our rental car from the Pittsburgh airport in a matter of minutes. Once we had our car rental, we were off to explore the city of Pittsburgh. During our six days in Pittsburgh, we were able to find a lot of fun things to do. Some of the highlights of our trip included the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Zoo, the Schenley Plaza and the PPG Aquarium. If you’re trying to decide whether or not to take a trip to Pittsburgh, I highly recommend going!

I Got a Luxury Car Rental in Pittsburgh

When I took a trip to Pittsburgh four months ago, I wasn’t planning on renting a luxury car. Although I had forgotten to make arrangements for a regular rental car ahead of time, I was simply planning on renting a standard type of car once my plane arrived at the Pittsburgh airport. However, as I was flying to Pittsburgh, my buddy brought up the idea of renting a luxury car once we arrived in Pittsburgh. He said it was a spontaneous idea, but I think it was something he had been thinking about for awhile. Although I was reluctant at first, my buddy kept telling me how much fun we would have for the entire day with a luxury car, so I eventually agreed to do it.

When we arrived at the airport, we looked up a luxury car rental company in Pittsburgh, and they actually came and got us from the airport. Once we arrived at their location, we checked out all the cars they had to offer. We eventually decided to rent a Bentley. Although our day wasn’t cheap, my buddy was certainly right. We had an amazing day, and we still talk about the luxury car that we rented in Pittsburgh!

At the beginning of this year, I got an invitation from one of my long-time friends to his wedding. Although we had grown up together in Dallas and then went to college together in Austin, after we graduated from college, my friend ended up moving to Pittsburgh because he got a a job there. Even though we had stayed in touch through the phone and email, I had actually never visited him in Pittsburgh. So, when I got his invitation, I knew that I was definitely going to take the trip to Pittsburgh for his wedding.

In addition to getting a plane ticket, I realized it would be a good idea to get a rental car. Since I didn’t care who I rented from as long as I got a reliable vehicle at a low price, I used an online price comparison website to see which of the major rental companies was offering the best rate. I found a really good deal through this website, and reserved it online.

When I arrived at the Pittsburgh airport, it only took ten minutes to pick up my car. I didn’t encounter any problems with my rental, and had a great time hanging out with my buddy again and watching him get married to his long-time girlfriend.

I Opted for Car Rental in Pittsburgh, and So Should You

My first visit to Pittsburgh was just over three years ago. Because I was only going to be there for four days, I thought that I could get by without renting a car. However, when I returned home after my trip, I realized that I could have experienced a lot more if I had rented a car while I was in Pittsburgh. Even though a lot of my time in Pittsburgh was spent in meetings, I still had plenty of free time that I could have used to check out the city. Instead, I ended up sitting in my room most of the time and watching a couple of new releases (most of which were pretty boring).

As you can probably guess, when I returned to Pittsburgh two years later, one of my top priorities on my to-do list was to arrange for a rental car. I did some searching online, and ended up choosing Hertz for my car rental (they were running a great special at the time). When I arrived in Pittsburgh, my rental car was waiting for me, and instead of sitting in my hotel room, I got to go out and have a great time throughout the city.
