I meant exactly what I said in the title of this post. In just over three months, I am going to be making a move. The reason I am moving is because I received a major promotion at work, so I am going to be relocating so that I can work at my company’s headquarters. Since you are probably curious where I am actually going to be moving to, the answer to that question is Pittsburgh.

I have always thought that I work at a great company, but seeing how they have helped me handle this transition has made me believe that even more. To begin with, once they told me that I had received the promotion, they flew me out to Pittsburgh, gave me a rental car and allowed me to take plenty of time to find a new apartment. Once I actually make the move to Pittsburgh in three months, they are also going to pay for all of the costs associated with moving my belongings to Pittsburgh (including my car, since I am just going to take a one-way flight down there). When I have told all of my friends about the great treatment I’m receiving, they are all extremely jealous!
