Whether you are traveling to Pittsburgh for business or an actual vacation, chances are you will spend a fair amount of time traveling around the city and experiencing some of the different things that it has to offer. Since I took my own trip to Pittsburgh several months ago, I thought I would share a few experiences and observations that will hopefully aid you in getting the most out of your own trip to Pittsburgh.

The first thing I have to say is that getting a rental car is definitely the best way to get around Pittsburgh. As long as you have a rental car, you will be able to get anywhere that you want or need to go. In addition to getting a rental car, I think it can be very useful to do some research and planning ahead of time. Obviously, there’s no need to schedule out every minute of every day of your trip, but if you get a general idea of the things that you want to do during your time in Pittsburgh, you can ensure that you don’t end up wasting valuable time during your trip.
